How does Jacket Rental work?

The jacket-for-rent service is a service that allows you to rent from our collection of winter jackets.

When will I receive my jacket?

Jackets will be available for pick-up 2 days before the start of rental period. You may collect the jacket at any COLDWEAR shop during the shop opening hours. Delivery is available with additional charges.

When do I return the jacket?

You will return the jacket within 2 days from the end of the rental period. Assuming your rental period ends on 1 May 2023. You will have to return the jackets at any COLDWEAR shop by 3 May 2023. A late fee, equivalent to the daily rental rate will be imposed if there is any delay in returning the jacket and this fee will be deducted from the deposit.

Where are the self-collection/return points?

The jacket can be collected and return at the following COLDWEAR shops:

  • orchardgateway B1-10
  • IMM #02-39
  • SingPost Centre 01-120

What condition are the items in?

Our jackets are inspected and dry-cleaned after every rental period. All jackets are kept in like-new condition for your usage.

What sizes do you carry?

Our growing wardrobes are available in sizes ranging from XS to 3XL. We offer winter jackets for toddlers, kids, adults and plus-size inclusive, in sizes ranging from XS to 3XL.

Can I try the jacket if I am not sure of the size that fits me?

Some styles are available at our shops so you may try the fittings at our shop. For styles not sold at our shop, you may make an appointment to try them at our office from Mon-Fri between 10am to 6pm. Our office is located at 994 Bendemeer Road #06-07. Singapore 339943.

Do I need to pay for damages if I stained the jacket?

We will take care of the laundry. If the stain can be removed by the laundromat, no additional charges will be imposed. If the jacket needs more intensive treatment and the laundromat charges extra for the service, we will deduct the amount from your deposit.

Do I have to pay for shipping or laundry?

No. Delivery & return (at our shops) and dry-cleaning costs are all included in the rental fee. Shipping charges ($8) only apply if you opt for Doorstep delivery.

Things to take note:

  • All reservation forms are subject to processing time of up to 3 working days.
  • A confirmation email will be sent out to you after your reservation is confirmed.
  • Reservations that are cancelled at least 14 days before the start date will be refunded.

How is the rental rate computed?

The jacket will be sent to the shop for collection 2 days before the start date of the rental period. You have up to 2 days to return the jackets to any of our shops.

That means, if your travel date is 5 July 2023 to 18 July 2023, your rental period is 14 days. The jacket can be collected from the shop of your choice from 3 July 2023 and returned the jacket to the shop by 20 July 2023 to avoid late charges. The rental fee per jacket will be $57 for a regular kid’s jacket and $81 for a regular adult jacket. You may refer to the table below for the rental charges:

Why is a deposit required?

The deposit is required to ensure the jacket is returned to us on time and in good condition. The deposit for an Adults jacket is $100 - $200, subjected to style, and $80 for a Kids jacket.

When will my deposit be returned?

Once we confirm the jacket is returned in good order, the deposit will be fully refunded to you. It will take approximately 7-10 working days after we receive the jacket.

Do you rent winter accessories?

Our jacket-for-rent service does not include other winter accessories. You may purchase other winter sweaters, accessories and travel essentials from our website or at our stores
